Atlas – Manasalokaya

Atlas is one of the most well-known and iconic stationary brands in Sri Lanka. For over 60 years, Atlas has helped children find their way to success. So we also wanted to be a part of this amazing journey with Atlas. As a result, the agency has developed an idea of how to support the students in getting an understanding of the lifestyles of Sri Lankan village norms and rural culture. With that, “Manasaloka” was born.

Every year, the Grade 5 scholarship exam paper contains many questions that are easy to answer for children in rural areas. These questions are mainly based on the lifestyles of Sri Lankan village people and rural culture. Children who live in urban areas find it difficult to answer these questions. Attending school and private classes, as well as reading books and completing homework assignments, will not assist the children in learning the answers to these questions.

Therefore, we created an exhibition and an interactive activity program for Grade 3, 4, and 5 schoolchildren to understand and memorize Sri Lankan rural culture in a more child-friendly, fun, and easy-to-remember manner through experience. And as a result of the campaign, this project has won an internal award among other brands inside Atlas.
